An Underserved Audience

Current music competitions often focus on instruments other than piano. Those competitions that do focus on piano tend to emphasize jazz and/or piano composition. Few major competitions hosted in the United States today are dedicated to classical piano performance.

State-of-the-Art Competition

Many music competitions still rely on applications and performance DVDs sent through the mail. WPI has leveraged a custom, elegant and efficient web-based application that facilitates competition information, registration, adjudication and competitor feedback, all within a secure and easy-to-navigate website.
